Which Is More Hot Air, Global Warming or Rush Limbaugh?

Rush Limbaugh recently pointed to the extraordinary and even record snowfall events on the East Coast and in Texas and said these events are "driving a nail in coffin of the global warming theory"—or words to that effect.

Mr. Limbaugh is not a meteorologist or other weather or climate scientist. When he does not know what he is talking about, he should keep quiet—not that he's ever adhered to that principle before. In fact, he makes his living sounding off when he is all opinion and no fact.

The reason he is wrong this time: Meteorologists are telling us that these snow events were the result of warmer Arctic air.

  1. With rising temperatures because of an influx of greenhouse gases comes a rise in sea levels across the globe. The warmer temperatures combined with the increase of water from the rise in sea levels results in more moisture entering the atmosphere which is inevitably transfered with turbulence and is at times transferred across continents and eventually dumped (which is what just took place on the US eastern coast in the form of record snowfall) The true weather patterns and those forcasts in tune with global warming caused by human influence on current weather patterns are constantly being proven correct in interpretations based on scientific facts. Global warming does not imply that weather patterns must always be warm. The Rush Limbaughs of the world are way out in right field unaware and inept to deal in an informed modern age. Rush Limbaugh has no purpose in life but to broadcast away and is oblivious to the fact that his once ignorant audience is being educated to hard facts and will no longer be taken in by feeblemindedness or daily childish rants.
